From Class III to VIII, Punjabi is introduced as a third language. Experiential Learning:

This methodology requires children to undertake projects linked to their real-life context, using an enquiry-based and problem-solving approach. In Experiential Learning, students use the available resources in their surroundings including the body (self, other), the space (class, school, outside), the material resources (toys, books, objects), and the group (class, teacher, community). The body, space, and group dynamics, used make the learning an enjoyable transformative experience.

Inclusive Learning:

The school invites and integrates students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds as well as diverse abilities into the mainstream classroom. NPS has been providing equal opportunities and inclusive education and has been reaching out to all sections of society including the elite and economically disadvantaged.

Project-based learning

Project-based learning is a teaching method that involves a dynamic classroom approach in which students acquire a deeper knowledge through active exploration of real-world challenges and problems. Students learn about a subject by working for an extended period to investigate and respond to a complex question, challenge, or problem.

Enquiry-based learning

Enquiry-based learning is a form of active learning that starts by posing questions, problems, or scenarios rather than simply presenting established facts or portraying a smooth path to knowledge. Enquirers will identify and research issues and questions to develop their knowledge or solutions. Enquiry-based learning includes problem-based learning and is used in research and projects. The Enquiry-based instruction is principally very closely related to the development and practice of thinking skills.
